Margot L. Ritchie joined the firm’s research team in the Toronto office in 1992 and was made Partner in 1994. She is a past member of the Executive Committee and the Investment Strategy Committee (2012-2018) and manages portfolios for Private Wealth clients.
Margot’s previous work experience includes commercial banking at the Royal Bank of Canada and equity research and mergers & acquisitions at RBC Dominion Securities and Bunting Warburg.
Margot maintains an active role in the community and is currently a Board member of the YMCA of Greater Toronto, as well as Board member and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Bata Shoe Museum. She is a member of the Wine Writers’ Circle of Canada, INNET and the International Women’s Forum. She is a past Board member and Treasurer of the National Ballet School of Canada and a past Board member of the Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation, International Women’s Forum (Toronto Chapter) and the Toronto Golf Club. She is also a member of the Toronto Hunt Club and the York Club.
