Marc Novakoff leads the firm’s Emerging Markets Equity strategies and co-manages the Global Equity and All Countries Equity strategies. He is also a member of the Investment Strategy Committee. Marc joined the firm in 2003 as a Research Analyst and became a Partner in 2008. He covered a broad spectrum of sectors throughout the years and has built an extensive network of industry contacts in developed and emerging markets.
Prior to joining the firm, Marc worked for CIBC World Markets in investment banking (Industrial Growth Group) in New York City. Before joining the investment industry, Marc worked for four years as an engineer and cost controller for Pratt & Whitney Canada in Montreal.
Marc is a Governor and a former President (2015-2018) of the Harvard Club of Quebec and a former President of the Harvard Business School Club of Montreal (2008-2014). He is also a member of the McGill Faculty of Engineering’s advisory board and is a guest speaker on investment analysis and global markets at universities and the CFA Institute.
