Alexandra Jarislowsky is Director of Research and Senior Research Analyst for North American equities. She has been a member of the board of directors of JFL since 2002 and has 19 years of industry experience. She began working at the firm in a consulting capacity in 2010, conducting research and analysis of healthcare stocks, and formally joined the firm as a research analyst in 2012. Alex is also a member of the firm’s Sustainable Investment Committee, which supports the Management Committee and the Investment Strategy Committee in the implementation of the firm’s Sustainable Investment Policy, through the development and sharing of research tools, sustainability solutions, ESG transparency and systems-level collaborations
Prior to joining JFL, Alex spent five years at Porter Orlin LLC, the oldest long-short hedge fund, where she was a partner and responsible for all healthcare investments at the firm. Previously, she was with Capital Research Company, managing healthcare service assets across various mutual funds.
Alex holds a B.A. (History) from Brown University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
